Description

The Funspot Family Fun Centre otherwise known as The Funspot is one of the largest video game arcades in the world and has a huge collection of late 1970's to mid 1980's arcade cabinets. It was founded by Bob Lawton in 1952 and has well over 500 video games units, pinball machines, outdoor and indoor miniature golf, ten pin bowling, a restaurant and a bar.

At the 10th Annual International Classic Video Game and Pinball Tournament the Guinness Book of World Record name The Funspot the "Largest Arcade in the World" but the accolade was passed on to The Galloping Ghost arcade in Chicago.

The 2007 documentary "King of Kong" featured many instances filmed inside The Funspot.
